Anti-Money Laundering Procedure
To comply with anti-money laundering regulations (AML) all estate agents must be registered with HMRC. Our agency complies with this legislation by using an online AML risk assessment company, approved by the UK Government.
Please note that all clients that we engage in business with are charged a fee of £35.00 (plus VAT), that is each vendor and buyer. These fees are payable so we can carry out and satisfy our anti-money laundering checks and once we are satisfied that our compliance is met we will then be able to proceed with advertising your property or proceed with your purchase.
The charge of £35.00 (plus vat) is to cover the costs incurred from the electronic system provider, each individual check, for the administration and the ongoing training of our staff and the licences we have to obtain.
